Also! There was a lot of personal satisfaction in being able to change my deviantart status thing from 'student: digital art' to 'student: film and animation', since that's the course I just started.
And I'm only two days into it, but it looks great so far. I feel like I'm finally doing what I want to do, instead of what I happen to be good at.
Which is the greatest feeling.

Just a bit of an update: I've been more than a little unproductive lately, since I've been getting ready to start university... which I finally did today. I've been waiting to start this damn course for nine-or-so months now, and it's such a relief to not only start the course, but to find myself enjoying it already. It feels like such a weight off my shoulders, seriously.
But I'm a bit of a nervous wreck, since I'm not terribly great at the whole 'meeting new people' thing... but having said that, the people that I've met so far seem really nice, so I only hope it lasts

And with the new year came new Sherlock, oh my gosh. I'm absolutely adoring the new series so far... but the last episode is tomorrow. How did it go by so quickly?? Ugh, either way if you're watching the last episode tomorrow, good luck! And if you can't for whatever reason, I hope you get to watch series 3 soon, it's a gem. No spoilers here though, sweetie.

It's an even lONGER way to New Zealand.
Wowee, loads has changed since I last made a journal, hence the slight alteration to the Cabin Pressure quote in the title.
On the first of December, I moved from my lovely chilly England to just as lovely, though much warmer, New Zealand. The move was pretty damn stressful, which is why you didn't see a lot of me in November. My house was ridiculously messy - at one point, I couldn't leave my bedroom for how many boxes of books were blocking up the door.
But eventually everything got packed into 233 (!!) boxes and sent off to New Zealand, which is due to arrive some time at the beginning of January. My parents and I took a plane at the en

Oh, I was hearing Helsinki and Boston these days and can I just say Martin is the saddest character alive?
1. Gets beat up by an orange-belted 14 year old.
2. Is insulted
3. Lives in an attic
4. Treats himself to a potato sometimes
5. Passes out in Ipswich
6. Is arrested
7. Doesn't get paid
8. Loses all the time
