Lestrade and Laryngitis
"So, when is the divorce final?" Sherlock asked, one eyebrow raised.
Greg Lestrade just sighed, resigned, and flipped open his Moleskine, scribbled the date that the judge had given him and tore the page out, handing it to the lanky 'consulting detective' before stepping past him, nodding at the uniformed officer holding the Crime Scene tape up and approached the car their current body had been found in.
"And the laryngitis?" Sherlock asked, even as his blonde companion kicked him in the ankle.
Lestrade sighed again, glad he'd kept the notebook open and scribbled another note.
"Oh." Sherlock read the note over Greg's shoulder and his eyes

Brothers
Mycroft wasn't sure what all the fuss was about. He watched the Baby sleeping in Mummy's arms, waiting for it to do something. Everyone said it was a beautiful baby. If that was the case, Mycroft wasn't sure he wanted to see any other babies, ever. It was almost absurdly small, with blotchy pink skin and one wispy dark cowlick of hair on its head. What was the point of babies, he wondered, rocking back on his feet. He was seven years old- practically grown, if you thought about it. What was he supposed to do with a baby brother?
"What are you thinking, sweetheart?" Mummy said. He looked up from the Baby's face to hers. Her dark hair, usually

Dear Sherlock
Dear Sherlock,
I know you won't get this, being dead and all, but I just want to write down everything that you've put me through in the last three years. Just to get it off my chest. Help me tie off loose ends and move on, without having you in my mind. I have to let you go. Even though I can still hear your words, your voice.
Year 1
I remember having a conversation about you with Lestrade:
"You know he's was never a real person." Lestrade said behind him.
I never believed those words.
"He was just a machine, in the form of a person. We all knew this is how it would end."
I shook my head, knowing Lestrade was already out the door by t

Mature Filtered purely because it's based on 'Sherlock', Seres 2, Ep 2, 'The Hounds of Baskerville', which is not yet available outside the UK. So if you really don't want to know anything about the episode, I suggest you don't read it. (:
I haven't done continuous writing in a very long time. It's very therapeutic; I sit at my laptop, think of a theme or a picture, and I just write without stopping.
There was a scene in 'The Hounds of Baskerville' (which, by the way, is an absolutely stunning episode. It might be my favourite so far. It was really superb. Mark Gatiss is an absolute genius) which I absolutely adored. I won't go into details for the sake of those who haven't seen it, but if you've read the above and have seen the episode, then you might know what I'm talking about.
I'm not sure if I'm happy with the final result. I literally wrote this all without stopping for about seven minutes straight, only editing out the spelling and grammar mistakes.
For those of you that have seen the scene in question, I hope you'll understand the angle at which I tried to write this. I tried to see everything through his eyes, and I hope that's clear.
If I reread this tomorrow and decide it's utter rubbish, then I'll delete it. It's currently 22:39 and I'm in need of sleep. I'll see how I feel about it in the morning.
'Sherlock' - (c) BBC, Moffat, Gatiss, Doyle, etc.
Thanks for reading!
